Our Story

Founded in 2003 by Rachel Allpress, Stoned & Waisted was originally a belt company before we expanded our collection.

Born out of Rachel's passion for everyday luxury and the desire to create treasured items which will last a lifetime, we are today known for our beautiful designs, attention to detail and iconic Shearling silhouettes. 

We manufacture predominantly in the UK, only using skilled local craftsmen and traditional techniques. We source all our fabrics from premium grade designer dead stock and produce in limited quantities, so you can truly trust the process and treasure each one-of-a-kind piece, knowing it's something very unique and always better for the planet.

Our collections are crafted to empower women with confidence so we can bring you  those key foundation pieces that you reach towards time and time again.

We are of-course, most known for our Shearling silhouettes. Our Shearling is  made from lightweight exceptional sheepskin (mostly sourced from Spain and Italy) and naturally dyed in vibrant colour palettes and designed in the UK. 

Our Shearling moves through signature pieces including coats, waistcoats and accessories as we continue to work closely with tanneries and manufactures to guarantee that only the finest skins are selected for their quality, texture, and luminosity. We choose our colour pallets carefully and bring together beautiful designs to deliver the most stunning combinations - which hope will complement your hard working wardrobe, time and time again.
